The REM Speedwagon
Ryan: Title courtesy of Todd K. At the time he came up with this title, he also had “Bruce Hornsby & the Mange,” which I believe he’s holding on to for a rainy day. I always thought the name “REM Speedwagon” really summed up our band, musically.
The song is about driving down to the Florida panhandle. I really love Andy’s Gene Simmons bass line.
