On the Lam
The first version here is the “sloppy chords, drunken beats” one that Todd did by himself for Two-Man Advantage. There are two guitars tuned a whole step apart from each other, and all the instrument cables were plugged directly into the four-track. Several years later, we started playing the song regularly again and wanted to have a recorded version that sounded closer to our live interpretation. The result was the Here Comes the Copout version. (Check out how cool Ryan’s doubled guitar sounds at the end.)
